Yoni Livstone

Yoni Livstone is a junior studying Jewish thought at The Jewish Theological Seminary and computer science at Columbia University. He's an active member of Columbia/Barnard Hillel, Chabad, Meor, Koach (the Conservative-style, egalitarian minyan), and any other enticing Jewish event on campus. Yoni is also a Bnei Mitzvah tutor and serves as a volunteer on the Juvenile Conference Committee, a diversionary program for first-time youthful offenders. Last semester, he swapped the Big Apple for Big Ben, studying English literature through the Columbia University in London Program. Yoni deeply appreciates the opportunity to participate in The Nachshon Project fellowship and eagerly anticipates self-discovery and a deeper understanding of his Jewish path.

Yosef Reiss

Yosef Reiss is pursuing a degree in Physics with a minor in Jewish Studies at Yeshiva University (YU). Before YU, Yosef spent two years studying at Yeshivat Har Etzion in Israel. In his second year there, he was a Head content editor for the annual publication put out by the second-year students, where they published articles in different areas of Torah and Jewish Thought. With that experience, Yosef continued this passion in Yeshiva University, where he currently serves as the Editor and Chief of Kol Hamevaser, the Torah and Jewish thought journal of the Undergraduate student body. Although busy with the dual curriculum, Yosef's passion to spread his love of Judaism has led him to teach in several high schools throughout the week. During his summer's, Yosef has been involved with Yachad and has served as Division Head in several different camps. Yosef is excited to get to know the other fellows on the Nachshon project and learn about different opportunities for Jewish leadership and ways to impact the broader Jewish community.

Zachy Krauss

Zachy Krauss is a Junior at Yeshiva University, currently pursuing a major in Economics. His academic journey began at SAR High School in Riverdale, NY, and he spent an enriching two years of study at Yeshivat Har Etzion in the Gush. Zachy has a deep connection to Moshava IO, where he spent childhood summers and later assumed the role of a counselor. Last summer, he continued this tradition by guiding his campers on Bnei Akiva's Israel tour for High School Juniors, Mach Hach Ba'aretz.
